CHRYSLER SEBRING/DODGE AVENGER RECALL

181,000 Chrysler and Dodge products from model years 2007 and 2008 have fallen under a recall that affects electrical components. It starts with connectors for the tire pressure monitoring system. Eventually, there's a danger that corrosion could interfere with the normal function of wiring that can lead to stalling or failing cruise control.

The Good Car Guy frequently points to minor recalls for good vehicles and suggests that said problems shouldn't steer prospective buyers into other showrooms. In this case, let it be clear that this is just one extra reason to steer clear of the Sebring and Avenger. For more on that, see one of the first GoodCarBadCar posts of all time.
